At La Perla Cocina Mexicana #2, the fact that you can see us, talk to us, and know where your money goes matters. We're on Grand Avenue in Pacific Beach, and our burritos are made the old-school way... meat cooked to order, never pre-prepped, wrapped in tortillas that customers tell us they'd eat on their own. Our Oaxacalifornia, a California burrito tucked inside a quesadilla, has become the stuff of legend, and our King Kong loaded with carne asada and chile relleno has its own following. As Zach S. shared, "Run, do not walk to this burrito. This is the best Cali in town. The Oaxacacalifornia is unique, tasty, and made with the freshest ingredients. The tortilla is one of the best I've had in my life." Our cooks show up hours before opening to prep everything fresh, and our staff greets every customer with the kind of warmth that makes people feel like they're eating at home. People drive in from LA, fly in from Texas, and think about our burritos long after they've moved away from San Diego. We're proud to be a Pacific Beach staple and grateful to serve our community.
